Our Classes and Teachers

Teacher - Elaine McBroom

Class Topic:  Recovering From Loss -

Whether the loss is through the death of a loved one, the ending of a relationship or other loss (a job, a way of life, etc.), grief can be debilitating.

This 13 week healing course, based on the book by John James Russell Friedman, The Grief Recovery Handbook, is powerful yet gentle. The course leads us to discover the foundation for grief, society’s “rules” that hinder recovery, and the way through grief to the knowledge and experience that missing and sadness do not have to be incapacitating, devastating or unbearable.

Each individual’s unique situation will be used to aid in his or her recovery.  Purchase of The Grief Recovery Handbook, revised edition, will be required at a cost of approximately $14.00.

Group hypnosis may be used during this workshop, depending upon student needs and preference, to aid in aligning the unconscious mind (88-90% of our brain-power) to support the change the conscious mind (10-12% of our brain-power) wishes to make.

Small to large workshop (13 weeks)
