Class Topic:  Working With Problem Students -

The goal of this workshop is to increase awareness of the nature and character of our young people with significant problems - generally referred to as "at risk".  These kids have been hurt.  They have been deprived, alienated and feel, often with very good reason, that they have no stake in the society or system.

What is important to them?  What experiences led them to their current condition?  What role do we as individuals, as a society, as parents, teachers, therapists, police, and court system play in enabling and maintaining them in their current state?  Can we understand the  behavior of these students and still recognize their inherent goodness?  What can we do to help?
Ongoing small to large workshop.
