Class Topic:  Fun and Awareness Through Improvisation -

A fun, creative class for those who want to increase their ability to focus, to be more present to the moment, and to be more aware of their environment. Through the use of warm-ups, exercises, games, and other techniques, the student will learn to be more relaxed, positive and present through the techniques of improvisation.

Our goal is to free up the student's imagination and to gently break down the barriers that limit our inventiveness and ability to be present and playful as creative human beings.

This class is not directed toward performers, instead it will enrich your life by opening you up and giving voice to those characters that we all have inside. It can also give you added confidence to be more relaxed and positive in new social situations.

The class framework will stimulate your mind and keep you sharp. Guided by the rules of improvisation, you will learn to be relaxed, focused and present while giving voice to your hidden facets that, like diamonds, are waiting to be discovered.

For those students who are interested, a performing improvisation troupe may be formed at a later date.
