David Joyce is a singer, keyboard player, and songwriter, having worked with many of the major musical artists of our time, including: Burt Bacharach, Natalie Cole, Elvis Costello, Dionne Warwick, Sheryl Crow, Ray Charles, Babyface, Michael Jackson, David Byrne, Richard Marx, Randy Travis, Tim McGraw, Wynonna Judd, John Williams, Frank Sinatra, Vince Gill, Barry Manilow, as well as on many Disney children's records.
David has sung for several television shows( including Carmen San Diego, Saved by the Bell, Days of Our Lives, and the Tonight Show), as well as many motion pictures (including: Death to Smoochy, Behind Enemy Lines, There's Something About Mary, Sixth Sense, Dinosaurs, A Civil Action, Amistad, Snow Falling on Cedars, Big, Contact, and LA Story).
In 1986, David was a Grammy Award winner in the category of Best Jazz Vocal Group 1986 as a member of Clare Fischer's "2 + 2 Plus".
David is a student first, and a teacher and facilitator secondarily. He recently received his M.A. in Music from USC, in Jazz Studies. However, he's just as much a student of life, having practiced meditation, participated in a wide variety of personal growth workshops, and applied himself to rigorous relationship work for several decades.
He has been teaching at USC and Pasadena Community College for several years, and has taught numerous communication, relationship development and music courses in a variety of settings.
