Class Topic: Walking - The Complete Exercise
For most of us, moving our body is fundamental to our existence, to the nature of our being. And, one of the most fundamental sets of movements in our body is the process of walking. Yet, how much attention do we apply to the act of walking? How does the way we walk effect our balance, our posture, our physical health, our emotional well-being? Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement has long been recognized as a powerful way to heal, re-organize, and transform the body, mind and emotions. In this class, through applying more conscious awareness, creativity and choice to how we walk, we will learn the significant ways our walk impacts our lives and methods of improving our walk and our health. . |

Small to large workshop (6 weeks)
Note: The teacher wants to limit the size of this class to 6 to 18 Students. The fee for the class is $25 for each session. Each session will last for 2 hours. The class meets on Mondays, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at our class site in South Pasadena. It is not necessary to attend the prior classes in the series in order to benefit from them, although attending the classes in order is preferred.
